Book Review: “Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging” by Louise Rennison

Hey everybody!

So, a couple weeks ago, I finished reading “Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging” by Louise Rennison. This book was a strange one.

This book is about a 14-year-old girl named Georgia Nicolson. Her cat, Angus, is a half-tabby half-Scottish wildcat. Angus always gets into a lot of trouble…he also eats everything in sight. Georgia struggles with the issues of teenage girls – boys being the very first thing. When she starts to develop feelings for Robbie (aka. Sex God), she does everything in her power to break up him and his girlfriend, Lindsey.

So…I honestly didn’t really enjoy this book. It sounded like it was written by a five-year-old and some of the terminology was just horrendous. I have never heard most the terms that were used before. I’m a college student with students enrolled from a lot of different countries and I’ve never heard them before. This book was so bad that it was hilarious.

Until next time,

Stephanie
