Book Review: “Hourglass” by Claudia Gray

Hey everybody!

I was still weak and I bought this book off of iBooks.

Bianca and Lucas escaped Evernight Academy and are now taking refuge with Black Cross. Bianca must hide the fact that she is a half-human/half-vampire from them. However, they are on the run again, not only by  the leaders of Evernight Academy, but also by Black Cross. Can Bianca’s and Lucas’s love survived what is to come? Will Balthazar finally step in or will he stay back?

As I have said before…..I love this series. This book got to me. I cried at the ending. I bawled like a baby. What happens to Bianca is so upsetting. Read this book and you shall understand why. The feels!!!!

Until my next post,

Book Review: “Stargazer” by Claudia Gray

Hey guys!

Like I said in my last post, I was weak and I bought this book on iBooks after reading the first book in the series.

Lucas has been banished from Evernight…and for good reason. Bianca’s parents want her to have nothing to do with him. Balthazar, on the other hand, makes a move and gets his chance with Bianca. But what happens when Lucas shows back up? Who will Bianca choose? What happens when Bianca gets targeted by evil forces while at Evernight?

I completely enjoy this series. Honestly, I couldn’t choose who I wanted Bianca to be with. On one hand, Bianca and Lucas make an amazing couple and you can tell that they truly love each other. On the other hand, Bianca and Balthazar are the power couple and are inseparable while at Evernight and he would do absolutely anything for her – he has a heart of gold and is so sweet to her.

Until my next post,

Book Review: “Evernight” by Claudia Gray

Hey guys!!!

I picked up “Evernight” by Claudia Gray on iBooks for free. I had read the overview and thought it would be an interesting read.

“Evernight” is about a girl, Bianca, who goes to Evernight Academy and she absolutely hates it. She runs into Lucas on her first day and they become somewhat friends. As the school year passes, strange things happen. When you’re stuck in a school full of vampires, things get messy. For the first time in a while, humans are allowed at the school, but why are they there? Why we’re the policies changed? What happens when a half-vampire/half-human destined to be a full vampire falls in love with a human….and not just any human either?

I enjoyed this book. It was definitely one I was glad I downloaded and I became obsessed with the whole series. I didn’t have enough strength to not buy books 2-4 on iBooks. I am ashamed of myself.

Until my next post,

Stephanie

Book Review: “Classified Material” by Ally Carter

Hey guys!

I know this isn’t an actual book, but it’s a nice little novella between the fourth and fifth books.

Cammie has disappeared. Nobody knows where she has went. The hunt is on to find her. But when Bex, Liz, Macie, and Zach get told by the CIA not to help find her, they get antsy. They are all worried about her and just want her home.

This novella has the Points of View of Liz, Bex, Macie, and Zach. It takes place over the summer between Junior and Senior year.

I could not find the original webpage where Ally Carter said it would be, so I did some searching and found it under “Classified Files” on the Gallagher Girls Wiki page.

I honestly thought Zach would be in the novella a bit more, but he wasn’t and that made me sad. What made me really happy, though, was that Zach was really concerned about finding Cammie. I ship Zammie really hard and I thought it was really cute.

Until my next post,

Book Review: “Only the Good Spy Young” by Ally Carter

Hi guys!

“Only the Good Spy Young” is the fourth installment in the “I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have To Kill You” series by Ally Carter.

When Cammie finds out the kidnappers were after her, her life turns upside down. She can’t hide. When Bex and her parents take Cammie to London for winter break, all hell breaks loose. Just when she thought she could get away from it all, she finds out one of her beloved instructors is actually a rogue double-agent for her kidnappers. When Zach shows up and whisks her and her friends away on a mission to the Blackthorne Institute for Boys, Cammie truly finds out what it is. Can she trust him anymore? Can she trust anyone anymore? Will Cammie go to the ends of the Earth to protect the ones she loves or will she retreat and protect herself? What happens to Zach and Joe? Will Cammie ever be the same again?

This. Book. Was. Amazing. It was filled with action, adventure, romance, disaster…..it kept me on my toes as I was reading it. I wanted to go straight into the fifth book, but I couldn’t……I don’t have the book. I neeeeeeeed iiiiiiiiiiiitt.

Until my next post,
