August 2017 Book Wrap-Up

Hi everyone!

I read one book this month and that was “The Unexpected Everything” by Morgan Matson. It was for the Tome Topple Readathon that was hosted in the month.

I didn’t read as much as I would’ve liked, but I’m hoping to read more next month.

I read 21 hours this month. I didn’t hit my goal and I’m really disappointed in myself for it, but I’m hoping to surpass my goal next month.

Until my next post,

Stephanie

Tome Topple Readathon | Wrap-Up

Here is my wrap up for this round of the TomeTopple Readathon. The challenges were:

1. Read more than 1 tome
2. Read a graphic novel (still over 500 pages!)
3. Read a tome that is part of a series
4. Buddy read a tome
5. Read an adult novel

I did not accomplish any of these goals, as I had worked most of the time and I only finished one book – and that book was “The Unexpected Everything” by Morgan Matson.

PAGES READ IN WEEK 1: 553

PAGES READ IN WEEK 2: 6

TOTAL PAGES READ: 559

As you guys can tell, I failed completely at this readathon. Hopefully by the next one, I will get more accomplished.

Until my next post,

Stephanie

June 2017 Book Wrap Up

Hi guys!

I am doing this post because I know for a fact that I will not be finishing any more books between now and tonight.

This month, I have read a total of 5 books:

  • “Tales of the Closet, Volume 1” By Ivan Velez Jr.
  • “It Ends With Us” by Colleen Hoover
  • “Nothing Can Keep Us Together” by Cecily von Ziegesar
  • “Octopus! The Most Mysterious Creature in the Sea” by Katherine Harmon Courage
  • “Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul on Love & Friendship” by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Kimberly Kirberger

I also DNF-ed one book this month and that was “Les Miserables” by Victor Hugo. In my defense, at least I tried to read it. Most people wouldn’t even try.

I have read 46 hours in the month of June (if I read today, I will edit this post with an update).

Until my next update,

Stephanie

March 2017 Wrap-Up

Hello everybody!

The books I read in the month of March were “Of The Trees” by E.M. Fitch and “Summoner Rising” by Melanie McFarlane. I didn’t read as much as I would’ve liked because I’ve been so busy with school. 18 credits sure has it’s disadvantages.

In total, I read 40 hours last month. My school books are taking up a lot of that reading time.

Until my next post,

Stephanie
